**A great tool for organizing 3D print files** I’ve been using LayerMate for a while, and it’s been an amazing tool for keeping my 3D print files organized and easy to find. The visual library and search make it much easier to manage a growing collection of models. It’s also great to see QueueMate use Snapmaker Studio for U1 prepare and check. I’m the creator of Snapmaker Studio, so that connection is especially exciting to me. LayerMate is a tool I’m happy to recommend.
This app brings organization to my files and makes it easier to find different files without having to search through multiple folders. I love the ability to add tags and notes to each file to make searching faster and easier to pick a file for a specific printer. The app gets updated regularly and is consistently improving.
It finds files everywhere and puts them all in one spot! And doesn't even include the extra programs it has! I have ADHD and one of them helps me pick out stuff I want to print making it easier on me as I tend to get overwhelmed and then just don't print anything...this is such a great program for just a cheap price.
My favourite thing about LayerMate is watching it search every drive, folder, subfolder and forgotten digital nook and cranny on my computer for every printable file I’ve ever created. Apparently I’ve been hoarding STL, 3MF, OBJ and G-code files like a digital dragon. LayerMate just walks in and says, “Don’t worry, I’ll find the lot.” Absolutely brilliant for anyone whose computer contains 47 copies of the same model named "FINAL_final_v3_REALLYFINAL.3mf", particularly when Fusion has the tendency to just save stuff wherever it wants to.
